Looking at Foreclosed Homes

Well, I spent another day with a few sets of buyers here in Rhode Island looking at a multitude of forclosed homes. It’s certainly hit or miss when it comes to the condition they were left in and what the current bank has done to secure the property. All of the properties we saw were under $100,000.00. Some were single family dwellings in Cranston, Providence, Smithfield and Pawtucket. Others were multi-family properties, the bulk of them being in Providence. They were all clean and free of debris, as well as currently winterized. This was not the case a year ago. Perhaps the banks are getting a system down to prepare the homes for resale. There are a number of good, solid properties out there and it will take a good team to help you reach your goals.
